Expanding Daybreak as the Cyber Defense Window Narrows

OpenAI expanded its Daybreak cybersecurity program with two new access tiers, Daybreak Blue and Daybreak Red, giving vetted defenders access to frontier models for vulnerability research, secure code review, and incident response. The expansion includes GPT-5.6-Cyber, a purpose-trained model for authorized exploit validation and security testing that OpenAI says completes 95% of advanced cybersecurity tasks, up from 1.5% for its general-purpose GPT-5.6 Sol model.

Introducing Grok Bot

xAI launched the public beta of Grok Bot, an always-on AI agent that signs into a user's existing tools and apps to complete multi-step work end-to-end, checking in only when approval is needed. The beta is available to SuperGrok Heavy and Cursor Ultra/Teams Premium subscribers on desktop and iOS, and bots can learn a workflow by observing a user once and then run it independently going forward.
