Introducing Claude Tag

Anthropic launched Claude Tag, a new feature that integrates Claude directly into Slack channels as a persistent team member with access to selected channels, tools, and codebases. Users can @mention Claude in channels where it maintains organizational context across conversations and, with ambient mode enabled, proactively surfaces relevant information and follows up on quiet threads. The feature is available in beta for Claude Enterprise and Team customers, with Anthropic reporting that 65% of its own product team's code is now generated using an internal version of Claude Tag.
